Loz Guest Book vol.2 Contribution by Telikor Loz Guest Book vol.2 Contribution by Telikor
My contribution to :iconlostonezero:'s new Guest Book. It's such a cool concept. DeviantArt has such a cool DiD community. It was so cool to be a part of it, and I'm pretty happy with the composition of this one.

Question: How do you get that old timey dotted colouring you have going on in there? (Don't know what to call it, sorry ^^; )

It's called 'half tone'.
In Photoshop under the Filters menu, the under Pixelate, pick Colour Halftone. In the menu that pops up, 'Max Radius' controls how large the dots are, while how dark the colour of the affected image is controls how much negative space there is between the dots.
'Screen Angle (Degrees)' controls the angle of the effect (if the dots are vertically and horizontally straight, the effect looks a bit ugly, you usually want to tilt it some). If you're wanted black dots, then make sure all four fields have the same angle, otherwise the effect will be broken up into its red, green, and blue channels.

I have to agree with 2chill. This was probably my favorite out of the bunch.

This is honestly my favorite drawing in the guest book. You took two of my favorite characters from loz's series and used them in a simple yet steamy manner. The shadows on the dimly lit pyramid wall somehow convey the seclusion of the scenario. I also have to say that Nenet (the most recent addition to loz's series) and Sara both look great in your style.
